Taste and See started as a homebased business 10 years ago. Our business’ humble beginning started from an idea of making sweets to sell in small sari sari stores and school canteens. Every day, we would make a batch of pastillas to offer to different local stores. We got our break when we released the Toasted Pastillas. It was an original idea that we developed until we came up with the perfect process to create the perfect product. The crunchy texture and toasty flavor that was added to the milky, creamy confection was a major hit. Resellers started to express their interest to help us move our product and sell them not only in our hometown but nationwide. Up to the present, the taste and texture of our product distinguishes us from all the others. Our business name was lifted from the verse, Psalm 34:8, “Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.” As we look back, the success of our business truly would not be possible without God.
