Thick Walled Bearings & Bushes
Hi-bond Bearings Pvt. Ltd was born of a long legacy of excellence in manufacturing. In 1970, the late Shri V. Patel founded the company VBW, for the manufacturing of bronze casting and bronze bearings for agricultural machines. The success of VBW led to the formation of its affiliate company, IBW. With IBW, Patel expanded into the industrial and marine engineering sectors, supplying tin-based Babbitt bearings and bushing for industrial, marine and agricultural engines. With two companies already running successfully, the Patel family decided to further solidify their presence in the manufacturing industry. In 1990, with only eight employees and 700 square metres of space, they opened a fully-automatic plant for the production of custom-made bi-metallic bearings and bushing. This company was known as Hi-bond Bearings Pvt. Ltd.
